Lewis is 18 months old now and he is all boy! Below are a few pictures from the last month.

Developmental milestones:
Running
Opens some doors
Favors his right hand
'Reads' books alone
Takes (or attempts) to take everything apart
Talks to others, but more like he's in his own world
Spends more and more time looking out windows
Helps with cleaning the floors and wipes up his messes
Shows his independence
Eats well by himself
Eats anything that isn't a choking hazard
Reality check:
Lewis grunts at the object he wants more than he speaks, even though he knows the words to say.
Lewis has been pushing and hitting others for the last 2 months. This is my most constant struggle with him and some days I feel like all the discipline means nothing to Lewis.
He screams every time I leave the room or leave him in Bible Class.
He is very strong-willed. From 8 months old he has been testing the boundaries.
Every day I second guess my disciplining methods and wonder if I am doing what's best for Lewis.
He is incredibly awful to be around when he wakes up from a nap. He screams bloody murder until we get him out of his crib. The doctor assured me it was 'just his personality'. (This was not encouraging!) I pray once he moves to a 'big boy bed' he will not scream anymore.
He hates milk.
I rarely take him anywhere besides the park or church, because he went through a screaming and tantrum throwing phase for 2 months. Thankfully, I think we are moving pass this after much discipline.
Lewis hit the 'terrible twos' at 16 months old. (No, really just ask anyone from church.)
His Saving Grace:
Lewis sleeps from 7pm to 7am! Plus, he takes a nap after lunch.
He gives sweet kisses.
He has a good sense of humor and has the ability to laugh at himself.
He entertains himself well.
He isn't a picky eater.
He has learned to stay in his seat while we eat dinner and doesn't need to sit in my lap anymore. (Praise the Lord!)
